What we do

We run forecourts. Properly, and around the clock.

Valli acquires, rebuilds and operates petrol forecourts and convenience stores across England, bringing branded fuel, everyday retail and quality food to go together under one roof.

The operating model

Four businesses on every site.

A Valli site is not one business but four running side by side: a branded fuel forecourt, a convenience store, a food-to-go kitchen and a set of driver services. Each has its own standards, supply chain and staffing, and each has to work at three in the morning as reliably as it does at three in the afternoon.

Holding those four together is the actual job. It is why we operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year across the estate, why we partner with brands customers already trust rather than inventing our own, and why almost every site we own has been rebuilt rather than patched.

What is on site

The four things a good stop has to get right.

01 / FUEL

Branded fuel

BP and Shell forecourts with AdBlue, HGV access and red diesel at selected sites, laid out for easy approach and turnaround.

02 / RETAIL

Convenience stores

SPAR-supplied stores of up to 3,000 sq ft, stocked for a real shopping trip rather than an emergency grab, and open all night.

03 / FOOD

Food and coffee

Costa coffee and Subway, including Halal Subway at selected sites, prepared on site and available through delivery platforms.

04 / DRIVERS

Driver services

Car wash, jet wash, vacuum, air and water, and free cashpoints. The practical things that decide which stop a driver picks.

How a site comes together

Acquire, rebuild, partner, operate.

01

Acquire

We buy forecourts with room to grow, sites where the location works but the offer does not. The estate began with four BP sites in 2002 and has grown by finding more of them.

02

Rebuild

Since 2008 almost the entire estate has been redeveloped: larger stores, better parking and circulation, valeting, ATMs and food-to-go space designed in from the start rather than squeezed in later.

03

Partner

We work with BP, Shell, SPAR, Costa and Subway rather than building own-brand equivalents. Customers already know what those names mean, and the standards come with them.

04

Operate

More than 250 colleagues keep the estate running 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Solar generation, LED lighting and voltage optimisation now cover most of the estate.
